CM Dhami Interacts with Students, Seeks Their Vision for ‘Uttarakhand of My Dreams’

Rudrapur: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the ‘Chief Minister’s Youth Student Brainstorming’ programme held at a private school in Rudrapur on Thursday. During the programme, he interacted with students and sought their views, suggestions, and vision for the Uttarakhand of the future.

The Chief Minister said that the energy and ideas of young people, along with their commitment towards a developed Uttarakhand, are encouraging. He said that, along with education, providing young people with better opportunities for employment, skill development, innovation, and entrepreneurship is a priority of the government.

He said that to realize the vision of ‘Developed India–Developed Uttarakhand’, every sector, including education, employment, tourism, agriculture, sports, science, and technology, is being strengthened. The construction of the country’s fifth-largest Science City in Dehradun is also an important step towards encouraging students to advance in the fields of science and technology.

The Chief Minister said that the ‘Uttarakhand of My Dreams’ campaign has received an overwhelming response from students across the state. Under the campaign, 267,744 students have submitted their essays and ideas. He said that the dreams and suggestions of students would be integrated with the development agenda of Uttarakhand to move towards building a strong, self-reliant, and developed state.

Around 800 students and teachers, along with public representatives and officials, were present at the programme. The Chief Minister also extended his Raksha Bandhan greetings to everyone.
