CM Dhami Interacts with Tharu Community, Reiterates Commitment to Education, Healthcare and Employment

Khatima: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami interacted with representatives of the Tharu community at his camp office in Khatima and heard their concerns, suggestions and expectations. The Chief Minister said that the all-round development of tribal communities is a priority for the state government.

The Chief Minister said the government is committed to empowering the Tharu community and making it self-reliant by connecting it with education, healthcare, employment and basic amenities. Special attention is also being given to preserving the culture and traditions of the Tharu community.

He said that the interaction was not merely a formal programme but a means of strengthening the partnership of trust and development between the government and the Tharu community. Every concern and suggestion raised by community representatives would be taken seriously.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuous efforts are being made to empower tribal communities. The government’s goal is to ensure that every Tharu family becomes part of the mainstream of development, young people become self-reliant, and girls receive education and become empowered.

During the interaction, representatives of the Tharu community welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him with a bouquet and expressed their gratitude for the efforts being made for the community’s development and for the preservation of its culture and traditions.
