Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday heard the problems of citizens from across the state at the Mukhya Sevak Sadan located in the CM camp office and resolved several cases on the spot.
During the public hearing, he directed officials to take prompt action on issues related to roads, drinking water, health, education, and financial assistance.
The Chief Minister said that matters related to public interest should be resolved in a timely and effective manner on a priority basis. He instructed officials not to delay unnecessarily and to regularly monitor each case. He added that the government’s aim is to make governance sensitive, accountable, and transparent toward the public so that people can get quick relief.
He stated that public hearings are a strong medium of communication between the government and citizens, helping not only in resolving issues but also in continuously improving governance.
On this occasion, office bearers of the Uttarakhand Film Television and Radio Association expressed gratitude by presenting a letter of appreciation for the state’s new film policy. They said the policy is helping Uttarakhand emerge as a major center for film production, creating new opportunities for local artists and youth.
Students from various schools, under the Jan Jagran Campaign Committee, also presented posters based on 15 flagship schemes of the state government. The Chief Minister appreciated their efforts, saying such creative activities increase awareness and social sensitivity among students.
He reiterated that the state government is continuously working in the areas of education, women empowerment, and youth development and is committed to uplifting every section of society through welfare schemes. Senior administrative officials were also present during the public hearing.
