Almora: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the Gwal Devta Temple in Tarikhet, Almora district, and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. After that, Dhami had a cordial interaction with the school children studying at Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Tarikhet. While interacting with the children, the Chief Minister mentioned the year 2047, saying that at that time India would complete 100 years of independence, and the reins of the country would be in the hands of today’s children.
The Chief Minister explained the importance of discipline and punctuality to the children, saying that proper use of time and a disciplined routine are essential for success in life. He made the interaction interesting by asking the children simple questions about their daily routine of going to and from school, and smilingly described discipline as the key to success. The Chief Minister said that children from the hills grow up in challenging circumstances and learn to struggle, which gives them a special ability to succeed. The Chief Minister urged the children to be proud of their language, dialect, and culture, saying that only those who remain connected to their roots can reach great heights.
