CM Dhami, on a visit to Khatima, performed Jalabhishek at the Vankhandi Temple and presented a significant gift to lawyers

Khatima: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the ancient Pandava-era Vankhandi Mahadev temple in Chakarpur, Khatima, and offered prayers. On this occasion, CM Dhami prayed to Bholenath for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. He stated that the development of the ancient Vankhandi Mahadev temple would proceed as planned, making this religious site grand and divine. He also extended Mahashivratri greetings to all devotees.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who arrived in his home district late last evening, performed Jalabhishek and prayers at the ancient Pandava-era Vankhandi Mahadev temple in Chakarpur, Khatima, on Sunday morning. On this occasion, CM Dhami performed Jalabhishek and Dudhbhishek and prayed to Bholenath for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. Following the puja, CM Dhami was given a grand welcome by the temple committee. CM Dhami met with devotees from far and wide at the temple and extended his best wishes for Mahashivratri.

CM Dhami stated that the Vankhandi Mahadev Temple is divine and ancient. Efforts are underway to enhance its grandeur and divine beauty. A plan will be implemented to make it a prominent religious site in the future. Along with the temple’s development, efforts are also being made to promote religious tourism.

Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami has immense faith in the Vankhandi Mahadev Temple. Every year, on the occasion of Mahashivratri, the CM visits the temple and performs the Jalabhishek (water offering) and also inaugurates the longest-running fair in the border region. Due to the CM’s efforts, this ancient temple is being continuously renovated and renovated at a cost of crores of rupees.

CM Dhami’s Gift to Lawyers

In addition, CM Dhami visited the Khatima Civil Court and inaugurated chambers for lawyers constructed at a cost of approximately ₹1 crore. Expressing their happiness over the construction of the chambers, the Khatima Bar Association thanked Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. They also requested an announcement of ₹5 crore for the construction of additional chambers. On this occasion, the Chief Minister assured the Khatima Bar Association that additional chambers would be constructed in a phased manner at the Khatima Civil Court.
