CM Dhami participates in PM’s “Pariksha Pe Charcha” program… CM tells students: School exams are not a challenge, but a stepping stone to maturity

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Prime Minister’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program at St. Agnes School on Nashvilla Road. During the program, the Chief Minister encouraged the students, saying that today the entire country is connected to the ninth edition of the Prime Minister’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’. This event has now become not just a dialogue, but a national movement. The Prime Minister’s message teaches us that exams may be a part of life, but not the whole of life.

Sharing his experiences from his school days, the Chief Minister said that school time is invaluable and never comes back. Therefore, students should continuously participate in sports and other activities along with their studies. He said that exams are an opportunity where students, like warriors, give their best with complete confidence, patience, and peace of mind. Passing exams is not the only measure of ability; there are many other goals in life.

Parents should not put unnecessary pressure on children

CM Dhami urged students to set goals, prioritize, and achieve success with a positive mindset, free from exam pressure. He also requested parents not to put unnecessary pressure on their children and not to compare them with others.

Under Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, more than four crore students, teachers, and parents across the country have registered, which is set to break the previous Guinness World Record. This year, approximately 7 lakh students, more than 53,000 teachers, and more than 14,000 parents from Uttarakhand have joined the program, while last year this number was limited to 298,000 students.
