CM Dhami praises Modi, says PM gave momentum to development and a new vision to Uttarakhand

Dehradun: At the inauguration program of the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway held in Dehradun, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him the “architect of a New India.”

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that before 2014, the pace of development in the country was slow, but under PM Modi’s leadership, the nation has progressed rapidly. He added that the Prime Minister has a special attachment to Uttarakhand and brings new projects for the state on every visit.

Calling the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway the “lifeline” of Uttarakhand, he said the project will strengthen connectivity and give a new direction to tourism and economic growth. He described it as one of the longest corridors in Asia and a major achievement for the state.

At the beginning of his address, the Chief Minister paid tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and extended greetings on Baisakhi.

He said that the central and state governments are working together to accelerate development and expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, stating that Uttarakhand is continuously progressing with strong support from the central government.

He also said that the Prime Minister’s emotional connection and affection for the people reflect his special love for the state.
