CM Dhami reaches Badrinath Dham; temple gates to open tomorrow

Badrinath: After offering prayers at Kedarnath Dham, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Badrinath Dham on Wednesday. He will participate in the पूजा during the opening ceremony of the temple gates scheduled for 6:15 AM on Thursday, April 23.

According to Dr. Harish Gaur, Media In-charge of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, the process of opening the gates will begin at 4:30 AM. On this occasion, several dignitaries, including BKTC Chairman Hemant Dwivedi, will be present along with the Chief Minister.

Shankaracharya’s seat reaches Badrinath
Before the opening of the gates, the idols of Lord Uddhav and Kuber, along with the seat (gaddi) of Shankaracharya, have arrived at Badrinath from Pandukeshwar. The entire shrine resonated with chants of “Jai Badri Vishal.”

Temple being decorated with 25 quintals of flowers
With the support of the Badri-Kedar Pushp Seva Samiti, the Badrinath Temple is being grandly decorated with 25 quintals of flowers. There is an atmosphere of उत्साह (enthusiasm) and devotion in the shrine ahead of the opening ceremony.

Prominent figures including Rawal Amarnath Namboodiri, BKTC Vice Chairman Rishi Prasad Sati, Dharmadhikari Swayambar Semwal, Vedic scholar Acharya Ravindra Bhatt, and Nayab Rawal Surya Rag Namboodiri were present along with other committee members.

As an important milestone of the Char Dham Yatra, there is great excitement among devotees regarding the opening of the Badrinath Dham gates.
