Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the status of announcements related to various विधानसभा constituencies of Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar districts and directed officials to ensure prompt and effective resolution of public issues raised by जनप्रतिनिधि (public representatives).
He said that MLAs bring forward problems from their constituencies, and it is the administration’s responsibility to act on them seriously. He directed that short-term works be completed quickly and long-term projects be executed in phases within fixed timelines.
Focus on coordination and monitoring
The Chief Minister instructed Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan to ensure better coordination among departments involved in multi-sector projects and to conduct regular reviews to avoid delays.
Maintain communication with public representatives
Officials were directed to maintain continuous communication with MLAs to speed up problem-solving and ensure quality in development works.
Alert on monsoon and forest fires
Keeping the upcoming monsoon in mind, instructions were given to complete cleaning of drains, desilting, and drainage work in advance. He also emphasized coordination and awareness to prevent forest fires during summer.
Focus on water and electricity supply
The Chief Minister directed ensuring uninterrupted supply of drinking water and electricity during the summer season in both rural and urban areas.
Key issues discussed
MLAs raised issues such as road construction and repair, healthcare services, mini sports grounds, crop protection from wild animals, flood protection, and waterlogging.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to take timely and effective action, stating that negligence in public welfare work will not be tolerated.
