Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that those who talked about building a Muslim university would have moved forward in that direction if they had come to power at that time. This has become clear to the public. Responding to a question about the opposition during an event at Doon University, the Chief Minister said, “The way the matter has come to light has made it clear, and action will be taken in the matter.”
When asked about the sale of land in the Sahaspur area, given to a trust in the name of a madrasa, to other individuals, the CM said, “The matter is serious. An investigation has been ordered. If the land is not in accordance with the rules and regulations, action will be taken against those who violated the rules and regulations. If the land needs to be vested in the government, it will be vested.”
The CM said, “We are celebrating the birth centenary of Dr. Nityananda. He had long ago raised concerns about the deteriorating demographics in the border region.” He also expressed concern about the Himalayas and the environment and said that the government will take forward his research.
