CM Dhami says ‘Spiritual Economic Zones’ will be established in both divisions of the state; Kumaon declared a major center of spirituality and cultural consciousness

Haldwani: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the Shiva Katha organized by Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan at MB Inter College ground. He said that the scriptures describe the non-dualistic form of Lord Shiva: “Neither doer, nor action, nor yoga, nor knowledge, nor enjoyment; I am Shiva, I am Shiva, I am Shiva.” This verse makes us realize that Shiva resides within our consciousness. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s Sanatan culture is establishing its identity throughout the world and has become a source of inspiration at the global level. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the state government is also continuously working with a resolute commitment to the preservation and promotion of the cultural and spiritual heritage of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.

He informed that a “Center for Hindu Studies” has been established at Doon University to encourage in-depth study of Indian culture, philosophy, and history, so that a strong intellectual and cultural foundation can be prepared for future generations. Along with this, rapid progress is being made towards the establishment of one “Spiritual Economic Zone” each in the Garhwal and Kumaon divisions with the aim of promoting Ayurveda, Yoga, naturopathy, and spiritual tourism.
