Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi following his remarks regarding Elon Musk, as well as ongoing protests against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Addressing the controversy surrounding Elon Musk, CM Dhami stated that Rahul Gandhi’s comments raise serious questions. Reaffirming licensing norms, he noted that any foreign enterprise or individual seeking business operations in India must follow established statutory procedures, emphasizing that national security must never be compromised.
Targeting Protests Against SIR
Reiterating his stance on protests surrounding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), the Chief Minister stated that anyone with legitimate evidence or facts should present them appropriately. He maintained that the voter list revision is proceeding strictly under established electoral framework guidelines, alleging that opposition groups are attempting to disrupt system operations to create an atmosphere of chaos.
CM Dhami also referenced organizations like CJP, alleging that certain groups are working at the behest of foreign entities. He concluded that preserving the credibility of democratic procedures and prioritizing national security require addressing all issues within the bounds of law and order.
