CM Dhami Warns Against Disorder During Char Dham Yatra

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has issued a stern warning against anyone attempting to create disorder or disrupt law and order during the ongoing Char Dham Yatra.

He stated that no one taking the law into their own hands would be spared and that strict legal action would be taken against violators. The Chief Minister said the state government is working at every level to ensure a safe, smooth, and well-organized pilgrimage, with police, administrative, and disaster management teams deployed along the routes to respond promptly to emergencies.

CM Dhami emphasized that Uttarakhand is a peaceful state that respects all religions and faiths. With large numbers of pilgrims arriving for the Char Dham Yatra, Hemkund Sahib pilgrimage, and other religious journeys, ensuring a secure and convenient experience for visitors remains the government’s top priority.

He urged both pilgrims and local residents to follow rules and cooperate with the administration. Officials have been directed to remain vigilant and take immediate action against any suspicious activity. The Chief Minister reiterated that maintaining law and order is non-negotiable and that strict action will be taken against anyone attempting to disrupt peace.
