Dehradun: After the BJP’s victory in West Bengal, a celebratory atmosphere was also seen in Uttarakhand. At an event held at the BJP headquarters in Dehradun, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and state president Mahendra Bhatt shared the joy of victory with party workers and recalled their experiences during the election campaign.
Chief Minister Dhami said that this victory is the result of the hard work and dedication of party workers. He added that the message of “saffron waving from Gangotri to Ganga Sagar” reflects the political direction of the country. He appreciated the workers while mentioning the challenges faced during the campaign.
He also praised the contribution of the youth wing members working in West Bengal, especially Mulayam Singh Rawat. He said that despite difficult conditions, workers strengthened the organization and successfully managed election rallies.
Calling this victory a positive sign for upcoming elections, the Chief Minister said that people are showing trust in the “double engine government.” He described it as an encouraging signal for the 2027 Uttarakhand Assembly elections.
Meanwhile, BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt said that the party’s victory is the result of the long struggle of its workers. He alleged that people in Bengal were dissatisfied with the policies of the previous government, which benefited the BJP.
He also announced that the victory would be celebrated in Uttarakhand for three days. He expressed confidence that the party will again form the government with a strong majority in 2027.
Overall, the victory in West Bengal has infused new enthusiasm among BJP workers in Uttarakhand, and the organization appears fully confident about the upcoming elections.
