CM Reviewed CM Helpline 1905, Emphasized Road & Health Services, Issued Directives to Officers

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the functioning of CM Helpline 1905, which operates to resolve public grievances in Uttarakhand. During the meeting held at the Secretariat on Monday, the CM reviewed the status of public complaints received through the helpline and their resolution. Additionally, the CM reviewed the condition of roads, arrangements for the Char Dham Yatra, as well as the health and education departments. He directed all District Magistrates to hold regular Janta Milan (public interaction) programs to ensure timely redressal of public problems.

During the CM Helpline 1905 review meeting, the CM instructed officials to expedite complaint resolution and provide timely solutions to the public’s grievances. The CM remarked that the CM Helpline is an important bridge of communication between the government and the public, aimed at delivering effective resolutions. Therefore, officials need to regularly monitor complaints received and resolve pending cases on a priority basis. The Chief Minister stated during the meeting that negligence at any level in resolving public grievances will not be tolerated.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami mentioned that anyone can register a complaint via CM Helpline 1905, which he personally reviews every month while speaking directly with complainants, resolving many complaints in the process. Along with the CM Helpline, the condition of roads was also reviewed. Post-monsoon, road conditions deteriorate significantly; hence, those roads should be repaired at the earliest. For this, PWD, PMGSY, and the Urban Development Department are preparing estimates and carrying out tender processes so that roads are repaired promptly.

The Char Dham Yatra is regaining momentum, and the number of pilgrims is increasing. Thus, discussions regarding the Char Dham Yatra were also held during the meeting. Landslides are currently occurring at certain spots, temporarily halting the journey in places. Directions were given to put appropriate measures in place for this. Apart from this, the health department was also reviewed due to the rapid spread of viral flu during the monsoon. Consequently, all health officers have been instructed to make better arrangements.
