Dehradun: A review meeting regarding works under the Chief Minister’s announcements was held under the chairmanship of Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan at the Secretariat.
During the meeting, departments were directed to expedite the implementation of projects announced by the Chief Minister and complete them at the earliest.
The Chief Secretary said that proposals for projects that cannot be completed and are proposed for deletion must be submitted to the Chief Minister’s Announcement Cell within 15 days. If no proposal is received within the stipulated time, it will be assumed that the department intends to complete the project.
He also directed officials to resolve issues related to land availability and inter-departmental coordination in consultation with MLAs, public representatives and district magistrates.
The Public Works Department was instructed to issue government orders for feasible road construction projects immediately, while departments handling drinking water schemes were asked to clarify within 20 days which projects can be implemented.
The meeting was attended by several senior officials including R.K. Sudhanshu, Amit Sinha, Sachin Kurve, Ravinath Raman, Chandresh Kumar Yadav, S.N. Pandey, V. Shanmugam, S.A. Adanki, Vinod Kumar Suman, Yugal Kishore Pant, Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar and Ranveer Singh.
