‘Deepak Gets Invited to Iftar as Soon as He Becomes “Mohammad”’: Chief Minister Dhami’s Sharp Attack on Rahul Gandhi, Says—Congress Politics Will Not Succeed in Devbhoomi

Dehradun. Pushkar Singh Dhami once again launched a sharp attack on Rahul Gandhi. Referring to the Kotdwar Baba shop incident, he accused the Congress of practicing appeasement politics.

The Chief Minister said that when a person adds “Mohammad” before his name, Congress leaders invite him to their residence and organize an Iftar in his support. He stated that when he was Deepak, he was not invited for a meeting, but as soon as “Mohammad” was added before his name, he received an invitation to Iftar. The Chief Minister termed this as vote-bank politics.

Chief Minister Dhami questioned how many times the Congress leadership had met women affected by triple talaq. He said that Muslim sisters express gratitude to the Prime Minister for the implementation of the triple talaq law. The Chief Minister stated that every citizen of Uttarakhand moves forward with a spirit of nationalism, and Congress politics will not succeed in Devbhoomi.

He alleged that as elections approach, urban Naxal groups become active. He said that organized campaigns and artificial techniques are being used to defame the government. Efforts are also being made to divide society on the basis of caste.

The Chief Minister said that his government is working simultaneously for development and cultural heritage, whereas Congress only practices vote-bank politics. He stated that the state government has enacted several strict laws to safeguard the demographic structure of the state. Under “Operation Kalnemi,” action has been ensured against those in disguise.

The Chief Minister clarified that the government does not target any particular community; rather, its objective is to hand over a secure and prosperous Uttarakhand to future generations. Protecting the cultural identity and spiritual character of Devbhoomi remains the government’s priority.
