Dehradun: A delegation of advocates from the Dehradun Bar Association met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence and extended congratulations on the successful completion of four years of the Uttarakhand government.
The delegation appreciated the government’s efforts towards overall development and strengthening the judicial system. They thanked the Chief Minister for initiatives aimed at making the judicial system more robust and transparent.
They also praised steps taken for the welfare of advocates, expansion of court facilities, and simplification of judicial processes.
A detailed discussion was held on the effective implementation of new criminal laws. The delegation said that the new laws would make the justice system stronger, faster, and more citizen-centric.
The Chief Minister highlighted the important role of advocates and emphasized the need for coordination between the bar and the bench to strengthen the justice system.
He stated that the government is continuously working on improving judicial infrastructure, including modernization of court complexes, expansion of digital facilities, promotion of the e-courts system, and simplification of legal procedures.
He also assured that facilities such as bar buildings, libraries, and other necessary resources for advocates are being strengthened. The government remains committed to improving law and order, speeding up judicial processes, and ensuring accessible justice for all.
