Gadarpur: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated a modern Roadways Bus Terminal built at a cost of approximately ₹3.49 crore during his visit to Gadarpur on Friday. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for several development projects, including a new Block Development Office building, aimed at accelerating the region’s growth.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to balanced and inclusive development across Uttarakhand. He stated that efforts are being made to strengthen roads, transport, and public infrastructure to improve civic amenities.
He also assured that the Gularbhoj Reservoir would be developed as a tourist destination and that approved road projects in the region would be completed at the earliest.
According to CM Dhami, improved road connectivity and modern transport infrastructure will boost tourism, strengthen local businesses, and create new employment opportunities for the youth.
During his Gadarpur visit, the Chief Minister also attended the martyrdom day programme of Shaheed Udham Singh, where he paid floral tributes and urged the youth to follow his ideals and contribute to nation-building.
