Grand Rangotsav Celebrated in Kashipur; CM Dhami Plays Holi with Folk Artists

kashipur: On the auspicious occasion of Holi, the Municipal Corporation premises in Kashipur were immersed in colors, गुलाल, and vibrant folk melodies. The grand “Rangotsav” celebration was attended by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami as the chief guest. He extended Holi greetings to the people of the state while playing with colors alongside folk artists, traditional Holi singers, and local residents.

The Chief Minister warmly welcomed and felicitated the folk singers and applied abir and gulal, conveying a message of harmony and brotherhood.

Municipal Premises Echo with Folk Culture

The grand Rangotsav, organized privately by Mayor Deepak Bali, showcased the rich folk culture of Uttarakhand. Renowned folk singers including Inder Arya, Govind Digari, Khushi Joshi, and Purvanchal singer Alok Kumar enthralled the audience with traditional Holi songs.

Artists performing Braj’s traditional Raas presented “Phoolon Ki Holi” (Holi with flowers), adding a spiritual and cultural vibrancy to the atmosphere. CM Dhami was also seen enjoying and swaying to the folk tunes along with the performers, further energizing the celebration.

Message of Social Harmony

A large number of local residents participated in the event, making it a vivid example of cultural diversity, unity, and social harmony in the state. The Chief Minister wished prosperity and happiness for all and urged citizens to strengthen mutual love and brotherhood.

The event is considered historic, as it marked the first time a sitting Chief Minister participated for an extended period in a public Holi Milan celebration among common citizens in Kashipur.
