IRS Mrinal Kumar Das Appoints Director, Department of Consumer Affairs

Following a circular issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on June 21st, Mr. Mrinal Kumar Das (2007-batch IRS officer) was selected for appointment as Director in the Department of Consumer Affairs under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. Officer Das was appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever transpires earlier.
