Ranchi: Amidst a recent development, the government of Jharkhand mandated a transfer of four IPS officers. Mr. Ajit Peter Dungdung (2011-batch IPS officer) was made the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Deoghar, replacing Mr. Rakesh Ranjan (2017-batch IPS officer), who was mandated to assume charge as the commandant of Jharkhand Armed Police One. Ms. A Vijaya Lakshmi (2006-batch IPS officer) was mandated to undertake the role of Inspector General (IG) Training. Mr. Kranti Kumar Gadideshi (2005-batch IPS officer) was made Zonal IG of Dumka.
