Khatima: Mushahid Ali, a CRPF जवान from Khatima in Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand, has been honored with the President’s Gallantry Award for his bravery and courage. This achievement has brought pride and joy across the state.
Mushahid Ali joined the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in 2014 and is currently serving in a Naxal-affected area. He has successfully carried out his duties in several sensitive regions of the country.
According to information, during the “Search and Destroy Operation (Shadow)” conducted in July 2019 in the Chakrabanda area near the Bihar–Aurangabad border, while serving as a COBRA commando, he killed three Naxals in an encounter on July 25. His bravery led to his nomination for the President’s Gallantry Award.
The award was announced on January 26, 2025, on the occasion of Republic Day. Later, on April 9, 2026, he was presented the honor by CRPF Director General Gyanendra Pratap Singh at the ‘Shaurya Diwas’ program held in Delhi, where a total of seven जवान were honored.
His achievement has filled his family, local residents, and the entire state with pride. His courage and dedication are becoming a source of inspiration for the youth.
