Tanakpur: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the “Main Sevak Samvad” program held at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office in Tanakpur. During the event, he interacted warmly with mothers of the region, senior citizens, public representatives, representatives of the Purnagiri Temple Fair Committee, the traders’ association, and local residents.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister listened to people’s problems and instructed officials to ensure their quick resolution. He said the government’s aim is to listen to public issues directly from citizens and ensure their prompt and effective solutions.
He held detailed discussions with residents on various matters related to regional development, expansion of public facilities, and local issues.
During the program, the Chief Minister also gathered information about the region’s needs, suggestions, and problems from local citizens and representatives. He directed concerned officials to work seriously on the complaints, demands, and suggestions received and ensure timely solutions so that people can get relief quickly.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the importance of Tanakpur Hospital. He said the hospital is located at an important place where not only people from Tanakpur and nearby areas but also a large number of patients from neighboring country Nepal come for treatment. Considering this, the government is strengthening health facilities here.
He informed that the dialysis facility in the hospital is being expanded and another dialysis machine will soon be installed.
The Chief Minister said that the convenience and safety of devotees coming from across the country to visit Purnagiri Temple is the government’s top priority.
Talking about future plans, he said that Tanakpur’s Boom area will be developed as a major center for tourism and water sports in the coming time. Work is also being done to develop it as an attractive wedding destination.
He added that the government is committed to developing Tanakpur into a self-reliant and well-equipped city in every sector.
On this occasion, District Panchayat President Anand Singh Adhikari, BJP District President Govind Samant, Tanakpur Municipal Chairman Vipin Kumar, Champawat Block Chief Anchala Bohra, MLA representative Deepak Rajwar, along with several public representatives, officials, and dignitaries were present.
