Dehradun: After a long wait, the Uttarakhand government has carried out a major reshuffle of IAS, PCS, and Secretariat Service officers. Several important administrative changes have been made in the transfer list issued by the government. Responsibilities ranging from the Garhwal Commissioner to the District Magistrates of Dehradun and Bageshwar have been reassigned.
According to the government order, BVRC Purushottam has been given the charge of Secretary, Higher Education, while he will continue to hold his previous responsibilities as well.
Vinay Shankar Pandey, who was serving as the Garhwal Commissioner, has been relieved of that responsibility and has now been appointed Secretary, Health and Civil Aviation. Meanwhile, Sachin Kurve, who was handling the Health and Civil Aviation Department, has been released by the state government for deputation.
Dehradun Gets a New District Magistrate
A major change has also been made in the post of District Magistrate of Dehradun. The current DM has been assigned responsibility in the Planning Department, while Ashish Chauhan has been appointed as the new District Magistrate of Dehradun.
Anand Swaroop has been appointed as the new Garhwal Commissioner.

- Sandeep Tiwari appointed MD of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN)
- Deepti Singh appointed Director of Minority Welfare Department and Director of Sports
- Prateek Jain given charge as Commissioner of Tax and Inspector General Registration
- Apoorva Pandey appointed District Magistrate of Bageshwar
- Akanksha Kode appointed Director General of School Education and Director of the Employees Insurance Scheme
