Haridwar: To showcase the religious, spiritual, and cultural identity of Haridwar Kumbh Mela-2027 to the country and the world, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday unveiled the official logo, website, and anthem of Kumbh. Speaking at an event held in the auditorium of the Fair Control Building, the Chief Minister said that Kumbh is a grand festival of India’s ancient spiritual tradition, Sanatan culture, and public faith. The state government is committed to a divine and magnificent organization of Kumbh-2027. All necessary arrangements will be ensured for the convenience, safety, and smooth movement of devotees.

The Chief Minister said that the official logo, website, and anthem will play a vital role in effectively presenting Kumbh’s unique identity while connecting devotees and the general public with the event. These mediums will help disseminate information related to Kumbh to the masses and widely broadcast the message of the event.

Haridwar’s Religious Heritage Reflected in the Logo

The official logo of Haridwar Kumbh-2027 features Maa Ganga, the Har Ki Pauri area, the bow bridge, and a sunrise view. It also includes a statue of Lord Shiva, sadhus and saints, a trishula, a damru, and the hills of Maa Mansa Devi and Maa Chandi Devi. These symbols express Haridwar’s spiritual significance, religious traditions, and cultural heritage.

The logo will be used on publicity material, publications, and digital platforms related to Kumbh, providing visual uniformity and a systematic format for promotion and dissemination.

To design the logo for Kumbh Mela-2027, the fair administration had invited designs from the state’s youth and students. Out of hundreds of entries received, 13 best and original designs were considered by the selection committee. Subsequently, the design by Madhu Sharma, a resident of Jagjeetpur, Vikasnagar (Haridwar), was selected, based on which the official Kumbh logo was finalized.

Website to Provide Kumbh-Related Information

Through the official website of Kumbh Mela-2027 (https://haridwarkumbh.uk.gov.in), authentic information related to the event will be made available to devotees, visitors, and the general public. Through digital means, devotees living in various parts of the country as well as abroad will be able to connect with Kumbh.

The website will help systematically disseminate event-related information and make it easily accessible to people, effectively presenting Haridwar’s religious identity and Kumbh’s special features on a large scale.

Message of Faith Through the Anthem “Kumbh Ka Parv Aa Gaya”

The official Kumbh anthem, “Kumbh Ka Parv Aa Gaya,” was also unveiled during the event. Beginning with the lines “Sadhu aur santon ke man mein harsh cha gaya, Kumbh ka parv aa gaya,” the song voices the joy of Kumbh’s arrival, the enthusiasm of sadhus and saints, and the faith of devotees.

The anthem was composed, sung, and orchestrated by Haridwar-based singer Raghav Raja. Its objective is to spread the message of Kumbh’s arrival to every household and strengthen cultural connection with the event. Through the song, efforts will be made to convey Kumbh’s tradition, joy, and spiritual atmosphere to the general public.

Haridwar Kumbh-2027 is an opportunity to present Uttarakhand’s spiritual heritage, religious tourism, and cultural identity on a broad scale. The official logo will give Kumbh a distinct visual identity, the website will provide information through digital means, and the anthem will express public sentiment toward the event. The coordinated use of these three mediums will help take Kumbh’s religious significance and cultural grandeur to national and international levels.
