Bhuvneshwar: Before the state’s Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, the government announced a large-scale reshuffle of IAS officers on Monday, transferring 14 district collectors.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievances Department of the Odisha government, the districts of Mayurbhanj, Cuttack, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Koraput, Kendrapara, Boudh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonpur, Rayagada, Malkangiri and Balangir have received new collectors.
Names of some of the officers who have been transferred are given below –
• Ashish Thackeray has been appointed Collector of Mayurbhanj.
• Vineet Bhardwaj has been appointed Collector of Cuttack district.
• Ranjan Kumar Das has been posted as Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) of the Central Division and RDC in charge of the Southern Division.
• Samarth Verma has been appointed Additional Chief Administrator of STA.
• Vishal Singh as Kendujhar District Officer
• Abdul Akhtar as the amiable District Officer
• Chanchal Rana as Khordha District Officer
• Sonpur District Officer Anya Das
• Bargarh District Officer Aditya Goyal
• Shraddha Dev Singh has been appointed Nayagarh District Officer
• Kirti Bhushan, Koraput District Officer
• Jaspur District Officer Shubhankar Mahapatra
• Manoj Satyavan Mahajan, Raigarh District Officer
• Gaurav Shivaji Ishwar has been appointed Balangir District Officer.
