Dehradun: On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, preparations have begun to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Uttarakhand State Foundation Day with great fanfare across the state. Various departments are organizing special programs and public welfare initiatives to mark the occasion. These include public awareness campaigns and camps. The state government aims to make the Silver Jubilee celebrations meaningful through public participation.
In this context, Pension Awareness Camps are being organized at Cyber Treasury, Dehradun from November 3, 2025, to November 9, 2025. On November 3, an awareness campaign will be launched to address practical difficulties and problems faced in accepting pensions and initiating family pensions. On November 4, information, awareness, and training will be provided regarding the digital submission of pension certificates to pensioners.
On November 5th, pensioners will be provided with income tax related information and on November 6th, pensioners will be provided with important information related to the State Health Scheme and medical reimbursement. A free medical camp will be organized for pensioners with the cooperation of the Health Department. On November 7th, with the cooperation of the Police Department and banks, an awareness program will be organized for employees/pensioners to protect them from cyber frauds/pension helpline number will be issued for pensioners.
On November 8th, a discussion will be held at the Cyber Treasury, Dehradun regarding providing “door step” facility for submitting life certificates to pensioners/family pensioners above 80 years of age. On November 9th, a meeting will be held with various disbursing officers working at the district level to discuss and resolve the deficiencies/errors found in various bills and pension forms. On the occasion of the silver jubilee of the state’s establishment, the Skill Development and Employment Festival 2025, under the aegis of the Department of Skill Development and Employment, is scheduled to be held on November 6, 2025, at the Government Industrial Training Institute (Youth), Niranjanpur, Majra, Dehradun. Thousands of youth from across the state will participate. Sectoral pandals and departmental exhibitions will also be organized during this festival. The Department of Industry, Technical Education, Higher Education, Skill Development and Employment, Tourism, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Horticulture, and Medical and Health will present details of programs conducted in their respective sectors. Special achievements related to the department will be informed to the youth in the sectoral pandals. Individuals and organizations demonstrating outstanding work in their respective fields will also be invited to these pandals.
