PM Modi Steals the Show Again, Strong Bonding Seen with CM Dhami

Dehradun: Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again captivated the audience in Dehradun with his unique style. Wearing a Brahmakamal cap, using small phrases in Garhwali and Kumaoni during his speech, and expressing emotional connection with Uttarakhand—these elements made the event special.

On the occasion of inaugurating the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway, the Prime Minister once again demonstrated his deep connection with Uttarakhand’s progress. In his speech, he emphasized local connection and directly engaged with the people by using regional words like bhula-bhuliyon, sayana, amma, and baba.

The Prime Minister also mentioned the blessings of Maa Daatkali in the construction of the expressway and said that Dehradun continues to be under her grace. He also recalled the Santla Mata Temple. Additionally, he highlighted Uttarakhand’s religious and cultural identity by referring to Haridwar Kumbh, Nanda Raj Jat, Panch Badri, Panch Kedar, and Panch Prayag.

During the program, strong coordination between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was also evident. In his address, the Prime Minister described the Chief Minister as a popular, hardworking, and young leader.

During the public gathering, even while Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was speaking, the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister were seen interacting, reflecting their good coordination.

It is worth noting that the Prime Minister has given Uttarakhand a major gift in the form of the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway. He also conducted a 12-kilometer-long roadshow in Dehradun. With the opening of this expressway, both the distance and travel time between Delhi and Dehradun will be significantly reduced. Earlier, the journey used to take 6 to 8 hours, but now it will be completed in just about two and a half hours.
