Haridwar: Preparations have been intensified for the proposed visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Haridwar on March 7. To review the arrangements, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Haridwar and inspected the program venue at Bairagi Camp.
The Chief Minister closely reviewed the stage setup, public meeting area, parking arrangements, and VIP arrival route along with officials. He directed police authorities to remain fully alert regarding security arrangements and instructed administrative officials to ensure proper arrangements for cleanliness, drinking water, electricity, and traffic management.
CM Dhami stated that a large number of people are expected to attend the event, and therefore no negligence at any level will be tolerated. He instructed all departments to complete preparations ahead of schedule with proper coordination.
In fact, on the occasion of the Uttarakhand government completing four years, a grand “Four Years, Remarkable Years” program is being organized at the Bairagi Camp ground in Haridwar, where Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend as the chief guest. An exhibition highlighting the achievements of the state government over the past four years will be set up, and information related to the new criminal law, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), will also be displayed.
During the inspection, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, along with several BJP leaders and administrative officials, was present. The Chief Minister said that the state government is also making comprehensive preparations for the upcoming Char Dham Yatra and future Kumbh events to ensure better and smoother arrangements for devotees.
