Dehradun: Even today, there is no shortage of people who share the joys and sorrows of others and fulfill their social responsibilities. Reflecting this spirit, retired Brigadier Harish Chandra Joshi, a resident of Vasant Vihar, Dehradun, and a native of Jaharikhal, Pauri Garhwal, donated ₹10 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Brigadier Joshi met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and handed over the cheque. This donation was made to support relief and rescue operations during previous natural disasters, as well as to support the education, health, and livelihood of poor and disadvantaged children affected by the disaster.
The Chief Minister said that as an experienced military officer, Brigadier Joshi’s initiative reflects his commitment to the overall development of the state and society, and inspires others to serve and contribute. Brigadier H.K. Joshi’s daughter, Shanu Joshi, was also present on the occasion.
