Special Rituals at Kashi Vishwanath Dham Mark Five Years of CM Dhami’s Tenure, Prayers Offered for Uttarakhand’s Prosperity

Uttarkashi: On the completion of five years of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s tenure as the state’s chief servant, special prayers and Vedic rituals were organized at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath and Shakti Temple complex in Uttarkashi. A sacred vow (Sankalp) was taken in the Chief Minister’s name, praying for his good health, long life, and continued success, as well as for Uttarakhand’s prosperity, development, and public welfare.

Amid Vedic chants, priests performed Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva, recited hymns dedicated to Goddess Shakti, and conducted a sacred fire ritual (Havan). Devotees and public representatives prayed for peace, prosperity, and sustained development across the state.

Speakers at the event said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Uttarakhand has taken significant strides in good governance, transparency, and development over the past five years. They highlighted key initiatives such as the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), a stringent anti-cheating law, land law reforms, an anti-conversion law, transparent recruitment processes, investment promotion, infrastructure expansion, women’s empowerment, and the development of border areas as major achievements of the state.

At the conclusion of the programme, attendees reaffirmed their commitment to building a developed, self-reliant, and prosperous Uttarakhand in line with the vision of a Developed India (Viksit Bharat).

Among those present were MLA Suresh Chauhan, District Panchayat Chairman Ramesh Chauhan, BJP District President Nagendra Chauhan, Garhwal Coordinator Kishore Bhatt, along with public representatives, BJP office-bearers, party workers, and a large number of local devotees.
