Dehradun: To commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in India’s history, a series of statewide public outreach, awareness, and welfare programs will be organized across Uttarakhand from June 12 to June 14.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed officials to ensure the programs are conducted with broad public participation and effective publicity so that the achievements of both the central and state governments reach the people.
Achievement Exhibitions Across the State
The Chief Minister said that as part of the three-day campaign, Achievement Exhibitions will be organized throughout the state.
These exhibitions will showcase:
- Major central and state government schemes
- Key development projects
- Public welfare initiatives
- Important policy decisions
The displays will be designed to provide citizens with a comprehensive overview of the development journey and governance achievements.
Welfare Camps at Block Level
CM Dhami instructed officials to organize public welfare camps in every development block.
These camps will focus on interaction with beneficiaries and citizens regarding schemes such as:
- Ayushman Bharat
- PM Surya Ghar Yojana
- Lakhpati Didi Scheme
Officials have been directed to ensure that eligible individuals receive benefits under these schemes and that public grievances are addressed promptly.
District-Level Press Conferences
The Chief Minister announced that district-level press conferences will be held in all districts on June 12.
These interactions will be used to communicate:
- Achievements of the central and state governments
- Major development works
- Details of upcoming programs
The information will be disseminated to the public through various media platforms.
Focus on Public Awareness
CM Dhami instructed officials to prepare fact-based, simple, and citizen-friendly presentations highlighting government achievements and to circulate them through multiple communication channels to maximize public outreach.
Ministers to Hold Public Interaction Programs
The Chief Minister said that ministers in charge of districts will organize dialogue programs in their respective regions.
These events will involve:
- Public representatives
- Intellectuals and community leaders
- Various social groups
The objective will be to share information about government schemes, development initiatives, and welfare measures while gathering public feedback.
Emphasis on Development and Governance
CM Dhami stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has achieved significant progress in:
- Development
- Good governance
- Infrastructure
- Public welfare
- Global standing
He added that the Uttarakhand government is also working under the Prime Minister’s guidance to accelerate development and public welfare initiatives across the state.
The Chief Minister directed all departments to ensure the successful, coordinated, and effective implementation of the scheduled programs throughout Uttarakhand.
