UPSC Civil Services 2025 Result Highlights: 958 Candidates Recommended, 659 Men and 299 Women; 11 Women in Top 25

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 on March 6, 2026. A total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various civil services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

Among the successful candidates, 659 are men and 299 are women. The examination once again witnessed intense competition, with over 9.37 lakh candidates applying for one of the most prestigious and competitive exams in India.

Anuj Agnihotri Tops UPSC CSE 2025

Anuj Agnihotri (Roll No. 1131589) secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the Civil Services Examination 2025.
He pursued MBBS from AIIMS Jodhpur and chose Medical Science as his optional subject. His achievement places him at the top of the merit list among thousands of aspirants who appeared for the exam.
