Uttarakhand: Amit Shah to visit Haridwar in the first week of March; Chief Secretary and DGP inspect venue

Haridwar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Haridwar soon. Officials from the government and district administration are busy preparing for Shah’s visit. It is reported that Shah will participate in the Cooperative Fair at Bairagi Ground in Haridwar in the first week of March. Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to visit Haridwar on March 7th. During this visit, he will engage in public interaction and review development projects undertaken by the state government.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s Uttarakhand Visit: On Tuesday, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, DGP Deepam Seth, and other government and district administration officials conducted a site inspection of Bairagi Ground. Officials are maintaining complete secrecy regarding the Home Minister’s visit and are refraining from sharing any information related to it. Before the site inspection, the Chief Secretary held a meeting with officials at Damkothi in Haridwar and provided necessary instructions. However, the meeting remained strictly confidential.

Uttarakhand officials inspected the venue: It is being reported that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh may also visit Haridwar along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The administration has been put on high alert in anticipation of their possible visit. On Tuesday, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan visited the Bairagi Camp area to review various arrangements and provide instructions to officers. Bairagi Camp has been selected as the main venue for the event, scheduled for the first week of March. Special preparations have been directed regarding security, traffic management, parking, stage arrangements, and crowd control. An exhibition will also be held in the Bairagi Camp area, showcasing preparations for the upcoming Kumbh.

From the Chief Secretary to the DGP, all officials in Uttarakhand are on high alert regarding the visit of Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Apart from Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan and DGP Deepam Seth, Home Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey, IG-Garhwal Rajeev Swaroop, IG Yogendra Singh Rawat, Mela Adhikari Sonika, DM Mayur Dixit, SSP Navneet Bhullar, Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari, MD-SIDCUL Saurabh Gaharwar, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Crime and Law and Order) Dhirendra Singh Gunjyal, CDO Lalit Narayan Mishra and many other officers were present for the preparations of his program in Haridwar.
