Dehradun: Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan extended New Year greetings to all the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of the New Year. During the program organized at the Secretariat premises on this occasion, the Chief Secretary extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the Secretariat family and all the people of the state for the New Year and wished for a happy, prosperous, joyful, and fulfilling life for the people of the state.
Addressing all the officers and employees present at the Secretariat premises, the Chief Secretary said that the Secretariat is the highest institution of the state. We are all stakeholders in this institution, and all the policies and important decisions of this state originate from this institution. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all of us to maintain the dignity of this institution and to realize its objectives. On the occasion of the New Year, we have to resolve that the dignity and status of this institution should become an inspiration not only for Uttarakhand but also for other states. He said that we have to serve the state and its people, and to resolve their problems by adopting a Whole of Government Approach and working as a Single Entity, and to be a part of the joys and sorrows of the people of the state.
On this occasion, Additional Secretary Navneet Pandey, office bearers of the Secretariat Association, and all the officers and employees of the Secretariat were present.
