Uttarakhand Culture Reflected in 70 Paintings at Bhararisain Assembly

Gairsain: A special painting gallery showcasing the culture and folk traditions of Uttarakhand has been set up at the Bhararisain Vidhan Sabha Bhawan.

The gallery features more than 70 paintings depicting the state’s cultural heritage and traditions.

The gallery was visited by Governor Gurmit Singh, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, along with ministers and legislators.

The paintings depict cultural elements such as:

  • Nanda Raj Jaat Yatra
  • Ramman Festival masks
  • Chholiya Dance
  • Aipan Art

All the artworks have been created by local artists Mukul Badoni, Jyoti Joshi and Mohanlal.
