Dehradun: Vinod Prasad Lakhera, a PRD personnel of the Information Department, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 13, 2026, due to cardiac arrest. The news of his demise has caused a wave of grief in the department.
Late Lakhera had been serving in the Information Department since 2010. He was currently posted at the Media Center in the Assembly and was known for his dedication to duty.
Additional Director of Information Ashish Kumar Tripathi prayed for peace for the departed soul and wished strength to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
In-charge of the Assembly Media Center, Manoj Kumar Srivastava, also expressed deep sorrow over his demise, calling it an irreparable loss to the department.
Officials and employees of the Information Department paid tribute to the departed soul and remembered his contributions.
