Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Sharda Corridor and the Magh Khichdi program at Sharda Ghat in Tanakpur, Champawat. In Tanakpur, CM Dhami inaugurated projects worth Rs. 954.46 lakh and Rs. 30975.89 lakh in Boom. In the first phase, works worth Rs. 107 crore will be undertaken at Sharda Ghat, including a 500-meter-long ghat, a protective wall to prevent floods, gates, pedestrian paths, changing rooms, passenger rest sheds, lighting, Karma Hari Pathshala, and a spiritual zone.
The CM said that the 200 sq km area of Sharda Ghat will be developed from a religious and tourism perspective. He said that the promise he made to the people of Champawat will be fulfilled soon. The CM said that the Madrasa Board will also be abolished. Guruvani will resonate in minority schools.
He said that whatever happens in Uttarakhand, it creates a lot of uproar everywhere. He targeted Rahul Gandhi while referring to the Kotdwar incident. Through his speech, the CM sounded the bugle for the 2027 assembly elections. He targeted the Congress party several times.
