Khatima: Holi was celebrated with traditional enthusiasm and cultural dignity at Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s private residence in Nagla Tarai (Khatima). During the Holi Milan ceremony, the Chief Minister warmly welcomed the guests along with his family and conveyed Holi greetings to the people of the state by applying abir and gulal, spreading a message of love and brotherhood.
During the event, women from various communities presented Holi songs and cultural performances based on Hindi, Kumaoni, Tharu, and Bengali folk traditions, filling the atmosphere with vibrant colors. The Chief Minister was also seen enjoying and dancing to traditional folk tunes along with the participants, adding special enthusiasm to the celebration.
Local citizens also participated actively. The event clearly reflected the rich cultural heritage of the state and the spirit of unity in diversity.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister wished prosperity, happiness, and well-being for the people of the state and called for strengthening love, harmony, and mutual cooperation in society.
District Panchayat President Ajay Maurya, Municipal Chairman Ramesh Chandra Joshi, State Minister Farzana Begum, Amit Kumar Pandey, Nandan Singh Khadayat, Gambhir Singh Dhami, Dan Singh Rawat, Satish Bhatt, Jeevan Dhami, District Magistrate Nitin Singh Bhadauria, and Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Ganpati, along with other public representatives and officials, were present at the event.
At the Holi Milan ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s residence in Khatima, he conveyed a message of unity and harmony among the people of the state amid cultural performances.
