Pauri Garhwal: A Passport Seva Kendra has been inaugurated in Kotdwar, bringing major relief to local residents. People will no longer need to travel to Dehradun for passport services, as facilities are now available locally.
The center, set up in the tehsil premises, was inaugurated by Pabitra Margherita in the presence of MP Anil Baluni, MLA Ritu Khanduri, and other public representatives.
Earlier, residents had to travel to other cities, leading to loss of time and money. Now, youth, students, and working professionals in Kotdwar and nearby areas will benefit directly. During the event, passports were also distributed to some beneficiaries, generating enthusiasm among locals.
Officials stated that this facility will open new opportunities for education and employment abroad for the youth.
