“Youth power is the real strength of nation-building” — Pushkar Singh Dhami

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the “Nation Building Festival” held at the Himalayan Cultural Center in Garhi Cantt and described youth as the foundation of nation-building. On this occasion, he also launched three new radio channels in collaboration with Oho Radio and Dreamers Edu Hub.

He said that the event is not just a program but a commitment to building a developed, self-reliant, and empowered India. Highlighting the importance of radio, he said that despite technological changes, radio remains reliable and emotionally connected to people.

Youth should become job creators

Addressing the youth, he said they should aim to become job creators rather than job seekers. He urged them to adopt the spirit of “Nation First” and prioritize national interest.

Inspiration from Swami Vivekananda

The Chief Minister encouraged youth to follow the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, stating that continuous effort until achieving goals is the key to success. Organized youth power can take the nation to new heights.

Role of youth in Developed India by 2047

He said youth will play a decisive role in achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047, adding that India is the youngest nation in the world, which is its greatest strength.

Focus on startups and skills

The government is promoting startups, skill development, and self-employment to empower youth and make them future-ready.

Importance of culture and heritage

He highlighted Uttarakhand’s cultural and spiritual heritage, stating that Devbhoomi has always contributed significantly to nation-building. Initiatives like the Swami Vivekananda Corridor and the Center for Hindu Studies at Doon University were also mentioned.

Several personalities, including Rakesh Bedi, Major Prajakta Desai, and RJ Kavya, were present at the event. The Chief Minister urged youth to contribute to making India a developed nation through determination, innovation, and dedication.
