BJP held a ‘Mahila Jan Aakrosh’ rally in Dehradun; CM Dhami roared, taking a dig at Congress’s double standards!

Dehradun: Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the ‘Mahila Jan Aakrosh Rally’ held at Parade Ground in Dehradun, where thousands of women showed unity in support of women’s empowerment. During the rally, the Chief Minister described the central government’s Women’s Reservation Act as a historic step and strongly targeted the opposition, especially the Congress.

Chief Minister Dhami said that the law providing 33 percent reservation to women is a major transformation toward women’s empowerment. Attacking Congress, he stated that the party has always had a contradictory stance on women’s issues. On one hand, Congress talks about reservation, but on the other, it does not support such important bills.

Women from various districts participated in the rally, raising slogans in support of the government and voicing their support for women’s rights. A large number of women expressed anger over the alleged double standards of Congress, stating that women’s rights should not be politicized.

At the event, women speakers praised government schemes and the Women’s Reservation Act, calling it a milestone in increasing women’s participation in politics.

Through the rally, women sent a clear message that they are now aware of their rights and will not accept any politics against women’s interests. The event conveyed a strong message not only about women’s empowerment but also politically.
