Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed deep sorrow over the demise of former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and senior politician Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri.
The Chief Minister said that Major General Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri set an extraordinary example of national service, discipline, and dedication during his tenure in the Indian Army. In public life as well, he established a strong identity through his commitment to Uttarakhand’s development, good governance, transparency, and honest working style.
CM Dhami said that Khanduri took several important decisions in the interest of the state and gave a new direction to development. His simplicity, straightforwardness, and efficiency will always remain a source of inspiration.
The Chief Minister stated that the demise of Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri is an irreparable loss not only for Uttarakhand but also for national politics.
He prayed to God to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members and supporters to bear this loss.
