CM Dhami Inaugurates Development Projects Worth ₹89 Lakh in Khatima, Youth and Education Receive New Boost

Khatima: During his visit to Khatima, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated various development projects in the Block Office campus aimed at strengthening education, youth empowerment, and public facilities. Inaugurating projects completed at a cost of approximately ₹89 lakh, the Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working for the bright future of youth, quality education, and the creation of a healthy society.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated the modern “Didi Ki Library” built at a cost of ₹55 lakh, the renovated and modernized gymnasium building developed at a cost of ₹7.50 lakh, and modernization works of the Block Auditorium completed at a cost of ₹26.50 lakh. He said these facilities would prove highly beneficial for students, youth, and the general public of the region and would accelerate new opportunities in the field of education.

CM Dhami said that education is the strongest foundation for the progress of any society. He stated that the “Didi Ki Library” established in Khatima would become an important center of knowledge for students and youths preparing for competitive examinations. He added that the modern library would provide students with a peaceful and suitable environment for study, helping them prepare more effectively.

He said that talented students from rural and border areas often remain deprived of quality educational facilities due to lack of resources. This library would prove to be a boon for such students, where the available books and study materials would help them prepare for competitive examinations and higher education.

The Chief Minister further said that the library would be operated by women from self-help groups, which would also promote women empowerment and increase their income.

Describing the renovation of the gymnasium building as an important initiative for youth, he said, “A healthy mind resides in a healthy body.” Equipped with modern facilities, the gymnasium would encourage young people to become more aware of fitness and health.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is working equally in the fields of education, health, sports, employment, and infrastructure so that the benefits of development reach every section of society. He added that Khatima is not only his home constituency but also a center of his special commitment toward development.

District Panchayat President Ajay Maurya, Block Chief Sarita Rana, Municipal Council Chairman Ramesh Chandra Joshi, former MLA Dr. Prem Singh Rana, MP representative Ravindra Rana, District President Kamal Jindal, District Magistrate Nitin Singh Bhadauria, Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Ganpati, Chief Development Officer Divesh Shashni, along with several public representatives and officials, were present on the occasion.
