Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday listened to the 134th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program along with the students of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential Girls’ Hostel at the Chief Minister’s residence. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Mann Ki Baat has become a powerful medium for inspiring citizens across the country.
He stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi shares inspiring stories from various fields, motivating people to work for public welfare and national interest. He added that the Prime Minister’s messages on topics such as a self-reliant India, environmental conservation, cleanliness, innovation, promotion of local products, and social responsibility are becoming the foundation for positive social change.
The Chief Minister said that many people in Uttarakhand are also bringing positive changes to society through their work, inspired by the Prime Minister. The state government is encouraging such individuals to promote positive thinking and innovation in society.
He further noted that in the latest edition of Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister urged citizens to take special care of their health during the intense summer heat and adopt measures to protect themselves from heat-related illnesses. He also encouraged the promotion of traditional and indigenous beverages and highlighted the unique qualities of Indian fruits, including mangoes.
Interaction with Students After the Program
Following the program, the Chief Minister interacted with the students of the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential Girls’ Hostel, seeking their feedback and listening to their views.
He advised the students to actively participate not only in academics but also in sports and other fields of personal interest. He emphasized that small positive efforts in life lay the foundation for major changes.
The Chief Minister said that good deeds inspire others and help create a positive environment in society. Work carried out with dedication and commitment always serves as an example for others. MLA Mahant Dalip Singh Rawat was also present on the occasion.
