Dehradun: The Uttarakhand Cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, began with tributes to former Chief Minister B. C. Khanduri and Padma Shri award-winning international shooter Jaspal Rana.
The Cabinet passed a condolence resolution in their honor and observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect.
CM Dhami stated that Major General B. C. Khanduri made significant contributions to Uttarakhand’s development, governance, and public service, while Jaspal Rana enhanced the prestige of both Uttarakhand and India through his outstanding achievements at national and international levels.
Following the tribute, the Cabinet proceeded with its regular agenda, discussing several important issues related to public welfare, development, and administrative reforms.
