Dehradun: Religious tourism in Uttarakhand appears to be gaining new momentum. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that after the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Adi Kailash has emerged as a new center of faith.
The Chief Minister stated that Adi Kailash, located in a border area, is no longer just a religious site but is also rapidly developing from spiritual and tourism perspectives. The government is continuously working to strengthen basic infrastructure so that devotees can have a better experience.
He said that the number of pilgrims visiting the site has increased after the Prime Minister’s visit. This has also created new employment and self-employment opportunities for local residents, strengthening the regional economy.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami added that the state government aims to develop Adi Kailash as a well-organized and safe religious tourism circuit. For this, roads, communication, healthcare, and other essential facilities are being expanded.
He also mentioned that this pilgrimage is not only a symbol of faith but also strengthens the cultural and spiritual heritage of the country. The government will take further concrete steps for the overall development of this region in the coming time.
