Dehradun: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Dehradun on November 6. During his visit, he will present the President’s Police Colour to the Uttarakhand Police. Earlier, this ceremony was proposed to be held on November 9, but the date of the event was rescheduled in view of upcoming festivals. Now, the ceremony will take place on November 6.
Following the news of the Home Minister’s visit, the police and local administration have intensified their preparations. The process of deciding his arrival and departure routes has begun. Simultaneously, round-of-table meetings among senior officials regarding security arrangements have also commenced.
