Dehradun: The family of the victim in the Bairagiwala murder case met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his camp office in Dehradun.
The delegation, led by BJP district president Meeta Singh, municipal chairperson Neeru Devi, former district president Sanjay Gupta, and OBC Morcha state minister Neeraj Kashyap, presented the family’s concerns before the Chief Minister.
According to the memorandum submitted by Neeraj Kashyap, Vinod Kumar was killed during a violent incident in Bairagiwala village on June 13. The delegation alleged that the attack was carried out by certain villagers and left the family in severe distress.
The family requested financial assistance and sought compassionate employment for the deceased’s wife at a government school in Bairagiwala. They explained that the deceased’s parents, wife, and two children were entirely dependent on him, leaving the family facing serious livelihood challenges.
Chief Minister Dhami assured the family of all possible support and directed officials to take necessary action. He also promised strict legal action against the accused, including those who are still absconding, and reiterated that the guilty would not be spared under any circumstances.
